WRITTEN CONTENT What is content? When used to define corporate messaging, content is key to effectively communicating value and presence through web, print, and package copy, marketing collateral, internal and external communications, contributed articles, biographies, white papers, newsletters, and much more. Positioning your company for success involves the identification of corporate identity, defining corporate messaging and understanding the target audience. More importantly, it involves the ability to communicate with potential and current customers using language and tone that is universally accessible. Often unexplored is the idea that “decision-makers” reside at every level of the corporate infrastructure. For example, an enterprise solution needs to make as much sense to the CIO as it does to the IT Administrator, his staff, and everyone else that needs to use it. Speaking to various levels of expertise can expand the corporate message while underscoring its validity. I work alongside internal and external public relations and marketing teams to enhance messaging, refine copy, provide publication content, develop easy-to-understand product documentation, craft executive level communications for internal and external distribution, as well as corporate newsletters, and shareholder communications.
